  • OK, I hope you took the correct ROM-Files (R22 or R23)? ;) Then try to transfer the files to your SD-Card one after another or try another SD-Card or CardReader.

  • Yes, i try R22 and R23.
    PNA470T_P4410_FlashRom_R22
    PNA470T_P4410_FlashRom_R23
    Resultat - Cheksum Error.
Also when i go to the MEMORY TEST option, test stop in point "Starting address test".
Devise dasenot switch On now :(.

  • Very strange! And you're sure that you did a FAT/FAT16 format? Are you able to try another card or cardreader?

    Danke.

  • I don't know how good your german is (the HowTo is only in german), but here is another method to flash the ROM, via an USB-Connection to your PC, ClickMe.

But this way is possible only if your BIOS-Menu shows a point like "WINCE by USB", see the screenshot.

  • Also Checksum Error via transmit by USB.

    Test is OK:

When i go in the meny "Other Tools" - "1= Memory Test", test not work. I see string on LCD - "Starting address test" and that is all :(

  • Hello AVL,

in first I would try another SD Card!
The best Card for flashing the device should be an "old one" with at least 128MB/512MB !

Another way would be to try another Cardreader...

Important is that you should first copy the .bin file to the SD and then after the transfer is complete copy the .cks file!

  • Ok.
I use 256Mb card includet with GPS navigator.

This is not normal? May-by my memory is wrong?

  • My suggestion is still the same, as GoPalFreak just wrote before, too: use another SD-Card < 1 GB, surely formatted in FAT/FAT16. If you're not sure, use this tool by Panasonic: SD-Formatter.

I feel pretty confident, that this is not a problem with your PNA. ;)

  • Hello AVL,

you should use a sd card as small as possible. in my case i use a card mmc 32MB ( Nokia handy ). even if the card works in the navi propably there might be difficulties when you use this card for flashing the rom.

so if you have a smaller card (max 128MB) you should try this again with the small card..

please copy the two files in turn one after the other and then it should go..

i do not think your memory is broken, because your navi runs propably before you tried to flash..
