Ich habe eine Sammlung von POIs für GoPal 6/7 kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.
PoiPac ist eine Reihe von nativen GoPal POIs (Points of Interest), die auf Ihrem GoPal-Autonavigationsgerät (Version 6 oder 7) installiert werden können, um dessen Erfahrung zu bereichern.

Zweck
Der Zweck von PoiPac ist es, einen Freeware-Satz von nativen GoPal 6/7 POI-Dateien (Point of Interest Files) zur Verfügung zu stellen. Diese POIs können auf Ihrem Medion GoPal 6/7 Auto-Navigationsgerät installiert werden und werden sowohl in der Echtzeitkarte als auch in der nativen GoPal POI-Schnittstelle angezeigt, wo sie ein- oder ausgeblendet werden können.

Beschränkung
Der Ländercode des POI-Sets schränkt die "Suche nach Standort" in GoPal auf das Land des Sets ein, Sie können jedoch auch "in der Nähe" suchen, wenn Sie sich in einem anderen Land befinden, und die POIs werden auf der Karte angezeigt, auch wenn Sie sich in einem anderen Land als dem im Ländercode des POI-Sets angegebenen befinden. In diesem Zusammenhang kann es manchmal sinnvoller sein, eine bestimmte Länderversion eines POI-Sets anstelle der europäischen Version zu installieren.
Download und Installation der Freeware-Version von PoiPac
• PoiPacFree.zip herunterladen.
• Entpacken Sie den Inhalt der Zip-Datei in einen Ordner auf Ihrem PC.
• Öffnen Sie den POI-Set-Ordner, den Sie auf Ihrem GoPal-Gerät installieren möchten (wichtig: Sie können immer nur ein POI-Set auf einmal installieren).
• Kopieren Sie den Ordner "35" in das Stammverzeichnis Ihrer GoPal-Speicherkarte (Storage Card).
• Legen Sie die Speicherkarte (Storage Card) in das GoPal-Gerät ein.
• GoPal-Gerät mit Soft-Reset zurücksetzen.
• POI-Dateien werden automatisch auf dem GoPal-Gerät (My Flash Disk) installiert.
• Prüfen Sie, ob die POIs in der GoPal-Karte und im Konfigurationsmenü sichtbar sind.
• Wiederholen Sie dies für andere POI-Sets

PoiPac POI-Dateien deinstallieren
Mit diesen Schritten können Sie entweder die POIs in Ihrem GoPal-Gerät deaktivieren oder die PoiPac-Dateien vollständig von Ihrem GoPal-Gerät deinstallieren:
• Verbinden Sie Ihr GoPal-Gerät über das Windows Mobile-Gerätecenter mit Ihrem PC.
• Löschen Sie <POI-Name>.pc, <POI-Name>.pcb, <POI-Name>.png, <POI-Name>-cat.png von \Meiner Flash-Disk\Navigation\poi\.
• Löschen Sie <POI Name>.psf aus \Meine Flash-Disk\Navigation\KarteRegionen\.
• Starten Sie Ihr GoPal-Gerät neu.
• Prüfen Sie, ob POIs aus der GoPal-Karte und dem Konfigurationsmenü entfernt wurden.

PoiPac is a set of native GoPal POIs (Points Of Interest), which can be installed to your GoPal car navigation device (version 6 or 7) to enrich its experience.
Purpose
The purpose of PoiPac is to provide a freeware set of native GoPal 6/7 POI files (Point Of Interest files). These POIs can be installed to your Medion GoPal 6/7 car navigation device and will show up in the realtime map as well as in the native GoPal POI interface, where they can be hidden or shown.

Content of the Freeware PoiPac Set
The freeware version contains the following POI sets (poiname, countrycode, type, category, display-priority, minimum-zoom-level, maximum-zoom-level, menupath, number-of-pois). For a description of these values see PoiPal.

Limitation
The countrycode of the POI set limits the "search by location" in GoPal to the country of the set, however you can still search in the "neighborhood" when you are in another country and POIs will be shown on the map even if you are in another country than that specified in the countrycode of the POI set. In that regard it may sometimes be more appropriate to install a specific country version of a POI set, instead of the European version.
Download and Installation of the freeware PoiPac version
• Download PoiPacFree.zip.
• Extract the content of the zip file to a folder on your PC.
• Open the POI set folder you want to install on your GoPal device (important: you can only install one POI set at a time).
• Copy the folder 35 to the root of your GoPal memory card (Storage Card).
• Insert memory card (Storage Card) into GoPal device.
• Soft-Reset GoPal device.
• POI files will be installed automatically to GoPal device (My Flash Disk).
• Check if POIs are visible in GoPal map and config menu.
• Repeat this for other POI sets
Uninstall PoiPac POI Files
You can either deactivate the POIs within your GoPal device or completely uninstall the PoiPac files from your GoPal device using these steps:
• Connect your GoPal device to your PC using Windows Mobile Device Center.
• Delete <POI Name>.pc, <POI Name>.pcb, <POI Name>.png, <POI Name>-cat.png from \My Flash Disk\Navigation\poi\.
• Delete <POI Name>.psf from \My Flash Disk\Navigation\MapRegions\.
• Restart your GoPal device.
• Check if POIs are removed from GoPal map and config menu.
